What is a Banana Deal?
Banana Deals are the most common and most popular sizes or diamond blades we carry, priced at a crazy discount level without restriction as to a minimum quantity purchased. We bought a rediculous amount of each of these blades to get special pricing, and are passing the savings onto to, our loyal customers. If you want to buy 100pcs minimum of some other type of diamond blade,et us quote it for you.
How does the ordering process work? Online: Browse the website and any items that you wish to purchase just click the "Add to Cart" Icon. You may add/ delete items from your cart at any time before checkout.
When Checking out you will see all items you have chosen along with a product total that subtracts any discounts you qualified for. Banana deals do not qualify for mix and match pricing.
You will be asked to fill in all your company/ payment information on our secure website.
You will then choose your shipment method. Please be sure to select the correct service if your product is needed by a certain day. Any orders submitted afer 3pm CST will be processed the next day. Only business days count in the time in transit. (i.e. if you select UPS Blue 2-day service on thursday, your item will arrive sometime on Monday)
Submit your order and print your confirmation. You will recieve an automatic email from UPS Quantum View when your item ships - typically about 4:30pm CST the day it leaves.
We will invoice the order/ process your C/C for payment within a day or so and then you will receive a receipt copy via email only.
Phone: We will always be happy to take orders over the phone also. Some items may not be ordered over the phone and receive special pricing however, like monthly specials and special deals/ packages. We do this to give incentives to order online and to encourage website trafficing.
What is the Warranty on items you sell? We do not have a specific Warranty Policy but we stand behind the items we sell. If you are unhappy with performance of your product please call us to discuss. See the return/ restocking policy for items that do not not meet your expectations. Items not manufactured by us have there full Manufacturer warranty (Metabo, Honda etc).
How do I return an item? All returns must be approved by a sales associate. All returned packages must include a written description of the items, any invoices and a proposed solution (i.e. check, credit, or replacement item).
Is there a re-stocking fee on returned items? Any unused items returned within 30 days are eligible for full credit, less any shipping costs. Any items returned damaged, used or between 30 days and 6 months are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee. No credit of any kind will be given on items over 6 months old, damaged or custom/special ordered.
Can I purchase on account with your company?
Yes, we will sell on account but only after 1 year of positive sales history with credit card payment. Please call for a credit application. Terms are typically 2% 15 net 30. However, anything sold on account is not eligible for any additional discounts, list pricing applies to all items regardless of quantity. Best pricing and terms can be found online and paid by credit card at time of order.
Do you have any Distributors?
Yes we do have a few stocking distibutors throughout the US and Canada for our smaller hand tools. Please call or email for a distributor nearest your location. We do not sell our walk behind equipment through distribution, however and are set up to mainly sell direct.
Are you an authorized repair center? No, but we are happy to direct you to a local professional who will suit your needs. For Metabo Grinders, Fastenal is the most widespread US distributor/ authorized repair center.
Shipping
Free UPS Ground Shipping- Customers that select free UPS ground shipping will recieve there orders in 5-7 business days. Free Ground is available in the lower 48 states. As of Today, AK, HI and canadian orders do not qualify for free ground shipping do to excessive cost. Free Ground shipping differs from paid ground in the fact that paid ground is shipped out the same day (if we can). Free freight orders are picked, packed and shipped last and thus the delay in getting them out. Sometimes they can go out sooner, depending on the work load and items ordered. Items that ship by truck frieght, are oversized, special ordered, non stock or any or reason we deem necessary will not qualify for free freight and are typically marked as such, but not always.
When will my order ship? Orders placed by 3:00 p.m. CST are usually shipped the same day via UPS, as long as they are in-stock items. We will ship partial orders if something is out of stock, or wait a day or two until we can ship the order complete, if time is not of the essence.
Tracking My package. Our computer system will email you a tracking number when your package ships. You can track your package at www.ups.com.
How long will my order take to get to me? Please see UPS ground time-in-transit map. We can ship next day air, second day air or three day select at an added cost. The checkout page will allow you select whichever service you prefer. Saturday delivery is available but you must call in for that service.

UPS delivery Gaurantee:
There is NO guarantee on any shipments, Ground or Air, by UPS to be delivered by any time or on any day. Their website may say otherwise, but that is not the case. UPS will blame the weather, acts of God, package size, rural residential destination, signature, or any other number of reasons to disqualify the guarantee they provide.
We have been through the process many times with UPS and because of their policies we must now state:
We, Joe Due Blades, will not credit you for any freight, transport, lost time, wages, product replacement or otherwise monetary compensation for any package not delivered "on time" as nothing is guaranteed or sold as such.
UPS Service Days: UPS runs M-F and time in transit reflects business days only. Orders placed after 3pm CST or on weekends will be shipped the following business day. Items will be shipped via method selected during the checkout process so be sure to select the correct one if you need product by a certain day. UPS.com has a time in transit map where you can punch in your Zip Code to get an accurate delivery schedule. Our Zip code is 53948. UPS may not run on Federally recognized holidays also.
How much does shipping cost? UPS ground shipments are free to the lower Continental US. Air shipping and Canadian frieght is calculated through the website and is shown upon checkout. Anything shipped by truck freight is charged depending on the class, weight and destination. Truck shipping varys conserably and you should call for a shipping quote before placing an order for a Ruwac, or a gas powered saw.
You want your item shipped with another carrier besides UPS? We do not ship Via USPS, Fed Ex, DHL , Speedy or others as we do not have accounts set up with those companies. The pickup/ drop points and transit times are not conducive to providing good service. Also, we will only ship prepaid on our UPS account, not COD or Freight collect.
International Orders: We routinely ship to Canada though ground shipping is not free. We can ship items all over the world via UPS. Call/ email for freight quotes or check out www.ups.com to get an estimate of charges
Truck freight charges: (Varies greatly, please call for estimates.) We use different freight carriers depending upon destination. Cost averages about $250.00 for midwest and up to either coast. Truck transit timse vary from 1-4 business days typically. Price varies so much due to the class the equipment is categorized in by federal law. If a 100lbs saw costs $300 to ship coast to coast, 100lbs of dirt would only cost $50 becasue its a different class, even given the same size, weight and destination. I dont know why, and the trucking companies cant explain it either.
Billing
When will I receive my invoice/ receipt? You will typically receive your invoice/receipt via email in a day or two. We charge your credit card in house (not through the webpage) only after all items ship.
Can my invoice be faxed to me? In the interest of time, we prefer to email or mail your invoice/receipt. |
